What and who we are:
As of June 2025, we are a social club centered around flying a 2023 Vashon Ranger R7 Cascade. This is an Airplane that can qualify for Sport Pilot to ATP. As a SLS airplane that members can use for training, travel, or fun! It is IFR equipped but can’t currently fly in IMC.

We seek to have 10 members plus non-flying associates. Members must be individuals, not groups or businesses. They must meet minimum criteria, like for instance, they must have a 3rd class airman’s medical certificate, or a BasicMed certificate. If you are licensed as a Sport Pilot then you can fly with a current drivers license and no disqualifying conditions.
The aircraft is leased, so our fees and dues are attractively low.

Basic information on costs are as follows.

Membership fee: $2,000.00
The membership fee establishes a fund for operating expenses. The membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Monthly dues: $266 (with 10 members)
Dues cover fixed costs including things like tie-down rental, aircraft lease, and insurance. Current dues $332 (5 members).

Aircraft usage:  $90 per hour (Assuming gas at avg $5.10 per Gal).

The hourly fee includes money set aside for routine maintenance like a 100 hour inspection, and also covers fuel and consumables like motor oil and window cleaner. If you purchase fuel or oil off site, you will be reimbursed up to $5.10 per gallon.
